Blue Belle
We bought Blue at auction on 21 March 2002 for $125. She was wild, terrified and very thin. After a few unsuccessful placement attempts, we have finally decided to make Blue part of our family. Every time Blue was adopted and then returned to us, she came back more afraid. Her last *home* was very abusive to her and she turned into a dangerous horse. When she came back, she seriously tried to hurt us. We decided to send her to a trainer for 90 days to see if something could be done with her. The trainers helped tremendously and Blue came back a much calmer girl. However, to this day, she doesn't trust many people. We can now pet her all over and she allows me to lead her. She is sweet and is trying hard....
