January 2000 Maximillian also came from a public "riding stable". He was emaciated, with lots of open sores all over his body. But he gained weight quickly and the sores healed. The scares remain though...

Max is a very quiet and laid back (mostly ;-))kinda guy. He works very hard for Perfect Harmony by allowing the volunteers to take a ride on his back. For this reason Max is not available for placement.

18 September 2009 Max is starting to show his age. Even though he is still riding sound on most days, he is dealing with unexplained lameness issues. He is still our best volunteer horse though.
