Meet The Animals
The well being of our animals is our #1 priority, even after placement.
Please make sure you are willing and able to take on the responsiblity of a new pet in your life. Get all family members involved in the decision making. When there's no doubt that you can provide a permanent, loving home to an animal in need, please e-mail us for more information.

All dogs and cats will be spayed/neutered prior to placement. We expect our animals to be part of the family and dogs cannot ever be kept on a chain or live as "outside" dogs only. Please note: We no longer handle these types of animals and can no longer accept dogs and cats into the rescue.

Despite our best efforts, some horses just don't find permanent placement. Be it due to severe abuse, old age or some kind of disability. These animals are now available for placement under our new *Wish Upon A Star* Permanent Foster Home Program.

So, if you think you would love to have one of our old-timers living out his/her life in your company, please complete the Permanent Foster Home Application.

It takes a lot of money caring for our permanents. Your sponsorship will assure the animals well being. If you love animals, but can't have one of your own, please consider sponsoring one of our animals.

NOT AN ANGEL

The young pup and the older dog lay on shaded sweet grass, watching the reunions.
Sometimes a man, sometimes a woman, sometimes a whole family would approach the Rainbow Bridge, be greeted by their loving pets and cross the bridge together.
The young pup playfully nipped at the older one:"Look! Something wonderful is happening!"
The older dog stood up and barked:"Quickly! Get over to the path."
"But that's not my owner," whined the pup, but did as he was told.
Thousands of pets surged forward as a figure in white walked toward the bridge.
As the glowing figure passed each of the animals, that animal bowed it's head in love and respect.
The figure finally approached the bridge, and was met by a menagerie of joyous animals.
Together they walked over the bridge and disappeared.
The young pup was still in awe. "Was that an angel?" he whispered.
"No, son" the older dog replied. "That was more than an angel.
That was a RESCUER!"
