We found Samson sitting under our truck one night. He was a bloody mess ... AC and sheriff was called. After a short investigation we were told that Samson had been fought against another pit bull. When Samson lost the fight, his teenage owner tried to beat him to death with a baseball bat. Samson was treated, neutered, vaccinated and then placed into a new home. Sadly, his owners decided to move and abandoned him at our vet's office (tied him to the fence with a note saying: Please take care of me). After we received the call from our vet that *our* dog was found abandoned, we contacted the Animal Rescue League of El Paso. Fortunately, the animal rescue league had room and accepted Samson. He has since been adopted again ...
