Sundance
SUNDANCE was donated along with DJ and JAMIE. SUNNY is in his early 20's and appears healthy. All 3 of these horses are very attached to each other and we are not sure they should be separated. SUNNY is still under evaluation and not available for adoption at this time. He is also in need of a sponsor.
01 OCTOBER 2002 SUNDANCE is suspected of having either enteroliths (stones) or fatty tumors in his intestines. The only way to know for sure is surgery, which we have decided against because his chances of survival are slim. He coliced badly and is having a hard time getting over it.
30 OCTOBER 2002 SUNNY is doing much better. We (and the vet) now believe that SUNNY suffered from a severe sand colic. After a double dose of Sand Clear he has been colic free. SUNNY is now available for adoption, but must be adopted along with D.J. We will not separate these 2. They have been together most of their lives and are very attached to each other. SUNNY is rideable and sound. Requires experienced rider. Adoption fee is $450 for both
Placed into permanent home
Sadly, Sunny lost his life to another severe sand colic ...
