Valentine was scheduled to be euthanized because he was unable to walk. He was misdiagnosed as suffering from severe arthritis. Luckily a very special lady decided to take him home and give him a chance. She took very good care of him, helping him gain weight and having a farrier take care of his feet. Valentine is foundered. As far as we can tell he does not have arthritis.

Valentine came to us because his rescuer is moving and cannot take him along. He is not available for adoption at this time.

Valentine is doing very well. We are still treating the founder/laminitis. Valentine is sound at the walk and enjoys slow trail rides every now and then. Please look at the new pictures. Isn't he just beautiful?
